Pamela-Love.com >>> About Pamela >>> Who's that girl?

Pamela Love was sold in the nineties. She was very affordable (if I remember correctly, she wasn't over what would now be 2 euros) and mostly came as a ballerina, but if you check out the mini catalogue, you'll see that she was available in many more different outfits. Being only 17 centimetres/6.5 inches tall and having highly mobile joints, she made a very cute and playable toy.

Pamela was distributed by Simba Toys, but most older models have a "Ocean Toys" stamp on their backs, just like some Judy/Sarah Louise dolls. See the 'Faces and bodies' and 'Family and friends' pages for more information.

What's cool about Pamela, is that she didn't have one unique look. Take a look at Barbie: she's always a blonde and if Mattel sells brunettes or black ladies, they're Barbie's friends. Pamela just comes in different looks: she can be a blonde or a brunette, her hair can be straight or curled: she's always called Pamela.
